Jiangmen Daily News (Reporter/Huang Sheng) On September 19th, the comprehensive utilization project of Dishengli lithium-ion battery recycling was launched in the Zhuxi New Materials Agglomeration Zone located in Xinhui District, Jiangmen. The Dishengli Lithium ion Battery Recycling and Comprehensive Utilization Project is invested and constructed by Guangdong Dishengli Auto Parts Co., Ltd. The initial investment of the project is 600 million yuan, and it is planned to process 50000 tons of retired power batteries annually, with an annual output of 20000 tons of power battery cascade utilization products and 5000 tons of lithium carbonate. The project is expected to be fully operational by the end of next year, with an annual output value of up to 1 billion yuan.
In recent years, Xinhui District of Jiangmen City has accelerated the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industries, actively seized the major window period and strategic opportunity period for the development of the new energy battery industry, regarded the new energy power battery industry as the core industry, successfully introduced a number of new energy battery "chain owners" such as China Innovation Aviation, and attracted a number of upstream and downstream enterprises in the battery industry chain to land one after another. From January to August, the industrial added value of the new energy battery industry chain in Xinhui District is expected to increase by 35%, showing a vigorous and upward development trend.
The business environment in Xinhui, Jiangmen is very good, almost responsive to every request, which is also an important reason why we chose to settle in Xinhui. Currently, the number of new energy electric vehicles is continuing to increase, and the number of retired lithium batteries is expected to be considerable after 2027. As the project gradually improves and matures, the company will also consider building a second phase production base in the Zhuxi New Material Agglomeration Zone to further expand the scale of the waste lithium battery recycling production base.
